Any Belarusian can join the Movement and choose from numerous options to resist the war and Belarus' regime.
Here is an overview of the Movement on May 20.
Support for Ukrainians and Belarusians

- Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office called the possibility of lifting U.S. sanctions against Belarus in exchange for the transit of grain from Ukraine “a matter for work”. To date, there is no reason to weaken the pressure on Lukashenka's regime, it should only increase.
- The Center for Belarusian Solidarity Crisis Center in Poland operates a hotline for those affected by the war in Ukraine in need of primary psychological help. Details in Russian here.
- Euroradio editor Zmitsier Lukashuk, in Berlin, presented his book on Belarus’ national idea.
Resistance
- Belarusians in Minsk held a picket to congratulate political prisoner Ihar Losik on his 30th birthday.
Sabotage
- The Hajun monitoring projects released an operational summary of military equipment movements for May 19.
- Hajun also published a review of the Belarusian propaganda statements about the war in Ukraine for the day: propagandists tried to portray Russia’s attack on Ukraine as a “conflict of Russia and the West”.
Awareness campaign
- BYPOL, a union of former security officers, released a video about the Interior Ministry's Department of Operational and Detective Support, a secret organization that the Ministry uses to cover the recruitment of agents.
- Vital Brovko, owner of the Thorwald Art Pub in Kyiv, spoke in an interview about the war, solidarity and Ukrainians’ gratitude.
- The Chestnaja Gazeta new issue tells about the drop in real income in Belarus, the recognition of Russia as a terrorist state in Lithuania, secret mobilization in Russia, notes of a 8-year-old boy in Mariupol, and more. Belarusians distribute underground media as leaflets and newspapers to counter state propaganda.
- Voice of America published a report from a fire training session of the Belarus Pahonia Regiment volunteers. The Prague Support Team provided full basic equipment for nearly 40 regiment members.
