Any Belarusian can join the Movement and choose from numerous options to resist the war and Belarus’ regime.
Here is an overview of the Movement on April 25.
Sabotage
- The Hajun monitoring project tracked the movements of Russian troops in Belarus for the day.
- Also, the Hajun project reviewed the Belarusian propaganda coverage of the war in Ukraine for the day. Propagandists in Belarus advocated for including Belarus in the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine.
Support for Ukrainians and Belarusians
- The BYSOL Foundation sent two more vehicles to Ukraine: an off-roader and a pickup truck. The Foundation thanked Ukrainian journalist Lana Kosach-Kvitka for facilitating the delivery and the Vostok-SOS NGO for helping purchase the vehicles.
- Belarusians marched in support of Ukraine in Krakow.
- Belarusians in Szczecin, Poland, held a rally of solidarity with members of independent trade unions detained in Belarus.
- Belarusians of London rallied in support of Ukraine.
- Belarusians of Georgia, DAR initiative, and BYSOL Foundation sent humanitarian aid and equipment to Belarusian volunteers defending Ukraine.
- The Center of Belarusian Solidarity provides free assistance to Belarusians and Ukrainians, including legal, and psychological support and help in locating temporary housing.
Resistance
- Minsk residents demonstrated Belarus' national flag at their picket in support of free Ukraine and Belarus.
Awareness campaign
- Belarusians keep distributing underground press to share truthful information about Belarus and Ukraine. The new issue of Chestnaja Gazeta covers the economic situation in the country and features first-hand information on Ukrainians' struggle from an Armed Forces soldier and a Ukrainian pediatrician Dr. Komarovsky.
