Support for Ukrainians and Belarusians
- The Belarusian Medical Solidarity Foundation, Belarusian feminists and activists released a guide in Ukrainian and Russian on support for women who faced violence during war, occupation, and in prison.
- Belarusians of London held a rally in support of Ukraine.
- The DAR Initiative and the Dapamoga NPO packed and sent a parcel with aid for the Belarusian defenders of the Ukrainian city of Odesa.
- The BYSOL Foundation evacuated from Belarus a famous Belarusian who jogged and “drew” GPS pictures by running different routes. He has “drawn” Belarusian historical coats of arms Pahonia, anti-war slogans, and other images in support of Belarusians and Ukrainians.
- Aliaksei Frantskevich, head of the Belarusian Crisis Center in Lviv, in an interview talked about Belarusians' support for Ukrainians in the times of war.
- Belarusians of Sweden volunteer at the storages of humanitarian aid to Ukrainians. Among other things, they help with interpretation.
Sabotage
- The Hajun project, which monitors the movements of Russian troops in Belarus, released an operational summary for April 20.
- Also, the Hajun project reviewed the Belarusian propaganda coverage of the war in Ukraine for the day. Propagandists claimed that “Belarus is being dragged into war”, mentioning “brainwashing and the influence of collaborationist ideology” in Ukraine.
Awareness campaign
- Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Representative Valery Kavaleuski and Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada deputy Serhii Sobolev joined Anatoli Liabedzka's anti-war YouTube stream and spoke on the battle for Donbas and news from Kyiv.
- Belarusian opera singer Marharyta Liauchuk performed “Oy U Luzi Chervona Kalyna”, which became a symbol of Ukrainian resistance and courage in the face of Russian aggression.
