Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya supported everyone who will take part in Sunday's march:
“Dear Belarusians! Every Sunday the regime does everything to prevent the courageous Belarusians from gathering in their city. The central squares are overlapping, the movement of public transport is changing, or even canceled. But this Sunday, the march starts right by your house.
People will go out into the courtyards tomorrow. Your neighbors and friends will be there. The terrorist organizations OMON and GUBOPiK do not have enough strength to come to every house in every city in Belarus. But even if they can visit some of them, you know your area better, and your house will be nearby.
This regime tries to force everyone to stay at home. He wants Novaya Baravaya and Kaskad, Square of Changes and Square of Truth, Grushevka and Pushkinskaya, all brave and freedom-loving districts to turn into ghettos. They do it to use the silence of the intimidated people later, to break into the houses and kidnap everyone considered as “unreliable”, as it was already with the journalists Katsiaryna Barysevich and Katsiaryna Andreyeva – for covering the story of Raman Bandarenka. But you cannot turn a country into a prison if no one is afraid of the jailers.
I support everyone who goes out to their courtyard tomorrow and strolls around their area. Every step you take leads to a free and fair Belarus”.
