The environmental campaign “Mes Darom” took place in Vilnius. The Belarusian community joined it, as well as:
- Dzianis Kuchynski, Director of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office in Lithuania;
- Anatoli Liabedzka, Parliamentary Cooperation Advisor;
- Dzmitry Kuchuk, Non-Staff Environmental Advisor.
“Mes Darom” is the Lithuanian part of the international movement “Let’s Do It World”, which unites millions of people across dozens of countries around the idea of caring for the environment.
The Belarusian community joined a clean-up effort in the Šeškinė slopes geomorphological reserve. Participants cleaned up the natural area and then took part in the broader program of the initiative, which included educational activities and informal networking.
Dzianis Kuchynski: “We are grateful to the Belarusians in Vilnius who joined the initiative and spent this day together doing something meaningful. Initiatives like this bring our community together and show that even the smallest actions matter when we do them together”.
