Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya: “On November 12, rallies and campaigns were held all around the world to mark the International Day of Solidarity with Belarus. Together, we honored the memory of Raman Bandarenka and other outstanding people who died fighting for a free Belarus. We tied white-red-white ribbons, lit candles, and raised the eternal Belarusian flag.
Wherever Belarusians are: in Lithuania, Poland, Scotland, Italy, Germany, the US, the UK, Belgium, Sweden, or Cyprus – they remember. Even in Belarus, where there is terror and repression, people prove that they have not “turned over the page” and continue to fight.
People from all over the globe also demonstrated their solidarity with our country. They expressed support to all Belarusians striving for a free future. Such solidarity gives strength and motivates us to keep moving toward our victory.
Thank you to everyone who remembers. Thank you for helping each other, joining rallies, supporting fundraisers, sending letters to our political prisoners, and standing in solidarity with each other every day. Belarus will be free – and will never forget its heroes”.
