“We, Belarusians, do not need Prigozhin's thugs, or Russian nuclear missiles, or a strongman rule. Putin and Lukashenka are turning our country into a pariah state, a firing range. Despite this disheartening situation, this is not a reason to give up. Neither for me nor for you.
Today I am heading to Brussels to discuss the EU strategy on Belarus and make sure it includes measures to prevent Belarus from becoming a Russian colony.
The Cabinet and I are also actively preparing for the NATO Summit, where we will discuss mechanisms for holding Lukashenka accountable, countering the deployment of nuclear weapons, and the security strategy for our region.
I want to repeat once again — I will not give up on any issue that concerns our national interests, security, and independence of Belarus”.
