By now, we have not heard from Viktar Babaryka since April 25, and Eduard has spent almost a year and a half in pre-trial detention without any charges.
They ended up behind bars just because they wanted to make Belarus a country to be proud of. A country where people could live and work peacefully, without fear of facing the police, being fired, or seeing empty shelves in stores.
I have always been inspired by the example of such strong Belarusian families as the Babarykas, Kalesnikaus, Losiks, and others. It is thanks to their stories that you believe in true love, faith in each other, and mutual assistance. They believe in and love each other so much that they are ready to go through any trials to support their loved ones.
Lukashenka likes talking about family values, but he himself has separated lots of families. But Belarus is a country of strong families a dictator cannot break easily”.
