“Only one new Constitution can be adopted in Belarus – the people's Constitution. The people will write and discuss it. And a person who terrorizes Belarusians has nothing to do with the supreme law of the country. He will continue to promote his manipulative project to deceive us again and buy time for himself. But we no longer believe in someone who tortures and murders for the sake of power, raises prices and taxes just so that his pocket is not completely empty. We do not believe someone who bargains with political prisoners and craves to stay in office for another year.
Lukashenka is trying very hard to convince us that Belarus with him can return to some calm and prosperous life. So he's trying to sell us stability with a rope around the neck.
In 2020, we announced that we do not consider him president. This means we will not accept any of his fakes of the Constitution, secret meetings and staged referendums, and indeed no new laws as long as he holds his post with weapons. New presidential election and a new popular referendum on the Constitution should be held in 2021 without Lukashenka”.
The Office of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya will soon present proposals for a Draft Constitution, which will be open for discussion.
