Tens of thousands of people live in Belarus and have suffered repression by the regime. These are tens of thousands of personal and family tragedies. All week long, the international community has been discussing the hostage-taking of Raman Pratasevich, but to each of our journalists and international partners, I say that there are now 9 million hostages. And not all of their stories appear in the media. Right now, many Belarusians need help. But sometimes they don’t even know who to ask for it.
Therefore, the BySol Foundation has opened a channel in which every victim of the regime (or close relative of the victim) can open a personal aid collection. Initiatives that increase pressure on the regime can also apply.
- How do I get help?
– If you want to apply for support, fill in the form.
– If you need help with the application, you can write to the volunteers of the foundation in the telegram-account @bysol_fundraising.
- How to help others?
If you want to help like-minded people, you can choose from the BySol website any of the active fees: personal or initiative support. You can subscribe to help the family of a political prisoner or a student who is forced to escape persecution, medical activism or media channels (use VPN to access the site).
Remember: We can only strengthen solidarity and build a new Belarus if we learn to accept help and help ourselves.
