The European Union has announced a call for applications for scholarships to study at universities in Czechia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland for Belarusian students and applicants who are persecuted due to their civic position or activities or have faced repression.
Belarusian students and applicants are eligible for the scholarship program if they:
– are already studying in bachelor's or master's programs at universities in Lithuania, Latvia, Czechia, or Poland in full-time mode;
– are currently planning to enroll in a higher education institution in Lithuania, Latvia, Czechia, or Poland.
The call is open until June 30, 2023. It has been announced as part of the EU4Belarus – SALT-II (Support for Advanced Learning and Training) program, which aims to support repressed students and civil society.
