Yesterday, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya was on an official visit to Tallinn, where she met for the first time with the newly-appointed Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Margus Tsahkna. On the occasion of the Belarusian leader's visit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs displayed white-red-white flags.

She thanked Estonia for supporting the democratic forces’ initiatives in the International Labour Organization and the campaign to prevent the Lukashenka regime from entering the UN Security Council.
During the meeting, the parties discussed:
– joint activities during the NATO summit and the United Nations General Assembly;
– assistance to Belarusian volunteers in Ukraine, including the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment;
– countering the stationing of nuclear weapons in Belarus and the need for a coordinated Western strategy on this issue;
– support for Belarusians in Estonia, simplification of migration and visa procedures;
– holding a high-level Estonian-Belarusian conference in the fall of this year;
– sanctions against the regime and holding the regime accountable for the abduction of Ukrainian children and internal repressions.
