Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, held talks during the European Political Community Summit in Granada. They discussed the upcoming session of the EU-Belarus Consultative Group, which will take place in January in Brussels.
The Belarusian leader called on Mr. Borrell to appoint a special envoy or coordinator for Belarus. “We need to work together to develop a common EU strategy for Belarus and act within its framework,” emphasized Ms. Tsikhanouskaya.
