On August 6, the Office of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the United Transitional Cabinet, and the Coordination Council will hold the New Belarus Conference 2023 in Warsaw.
- Why?
Over the past year, we have faced many challenges that will impact the future of our country. It’s been more than a year and a half since the war, supported by illegitimate Lukashenka, broke out. Russia is building its military bases, placing its nuclear weapons, and deploying its Wagner PMC mercenaries in our country. With each passing month, Belarus is increasingly being absorbed by imperial Russia and losing its independence. A deep political crisis and lawlessness is what the regime's policies have brought Belarus to.
This is a lot of problems for a single country, but nobody but us, Belarusians, can deal with them. That is why we invite representatives of civil initiatives and political organizations, activists, entrepreneurs, and experts to come together to reflect on the past three years and spot our successes and failures. But most importantly, to discuss what we should do to address all the challenges we face.
To participate, please register through the online form by July 23. Read more about the Conference program (in Belarusian) on the website. If you have questions, ask them on Telegram: @ConfNewBelarus2023.
