Belarusian culture has long been repressed under the non-democratic regime within the country. Yet, the scale of this repression has considerably increased since 2020. This policy brief examines different aspects of cultural oppression facing Belarusians and the ways in which they are coping with it. In the final part, it offers three policy recommendations.
