  • “A celebration of love, friendship, and solidarity – and a place of unity for Belarusians”

    July 14, 2025

This weekend, the fifth Tutaka Festival took place in Borek, Poland, bringing together thousands of Belarusians to discuss urgent community issues, debate the future of Belarus, and, most importantly, rest and support one another.

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya: “Belarusians have a tradition, talaka, when we come together to do something as a community. This year’s Tutaka was created in just that way – it was shaped by the participants themselves.

Tutaka is a celebration of love, friendship, and solidarity. It’s a space where Belarusians from both sides of the border come together. Let’s do everything we can to make sure Tutaka also takes place back home in Belarus!”

The Tutaka Festival brought together diverse forms of creativity and dialogue, painting a vibrant and multifaceted picture of modern Belarusian independent culture and civil society. Read more in this report by Belsat.

The event was organized by the Tutaka team, led by Pavel Stankevich, under the patronage of Polish President Andrzej Duda and Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya.
