Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office strives to support Belarusians and encourage them to participate in social and political life. We believe that after the democratic transition, Belarus will need professionals who can apply their diverse and, importantly, modern experience in practice. Therefore, we invite Belarusians to consider internships at the Council of Europe.
The Council of Europe’s Contact Group on Belarus, which works with Belarus’ democratic forces and civil society, accepts applications for a six-month professional training in Strasbourg.
Internships are available in four bodies:
- Directorate General Human Rights and Rule of Law (DGI);
- Directorate General Democracy and Human Dignity (DGII);
- Secretary General’s Office at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE);
- Secretariat of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.
Please note that the requirements for candidates may vary depending on the selected internship. For more details and participation conditions, follow the link. The deadline for submitting applications is November 10.
