On the last day of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s visit to Poland, the Marshal of the Polish Senate, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, officially received the leader of the democratic forces of Belarus.
During the meeting, they discussed the following issues:
📌 Action plan during and after the regime’s 2025 election;
📌 Visa and e-visa issuance plans for Belarusians until 2026;
📌 Poland’s support for the case against Lukashenka in the International Criminal Court;
📌 Support for the International Humanitarian Fund to support the repressed in Belarus;
📌 Strengthened border controls to prevent sanction circumvention;
📌 Support for Belarusian culture and media programs.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya: “I am grateful to Poland for its resolute stance in the fight against the Lukashenka regime. During the meeting, Ms. Kidawa-Błońska assured me that the Polish Senate remains principled and has no intention of compromising with or legitimizing Lukashenka. This is evident in Poland’s decision to introduce entry exceptions for private Belarusian-registered vehicles and the strengthened border controls to prevent the circumvention of sanctions. Let me sincerely thank the Polish side for supporting Belarusians, our culture, and independent media”.
