Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Advisor on Education and Science, Tatiana Shchyttsova, discusses the work of the Education Team of the Office in 2023 in a new video.
Ms. Shchyttsova names the release of the Roadmap for the Democratization of Education in Belarus one of the most significant events of the year. It is an action plan that will help effectively transform the education system after the democratic transition in the country. The Roadmap has already been presented for public discussion.
The Education team has also been working to support Belarusian students, professors, and researchers, including through the Vasminoh Project and SALT-2 Program. 18 issues of the Asvet digest have been released, covering educational opportunities for Belarusians.
