    Here is an overview of the Movement for the week of March 21-27.

    Resistance

    • Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya called the potential invasion of Ukraine inadmissible and announced a tribunal for those who give or execute criminal orders against the will of the Belarusian people.
    • As the volunteers of the Kastus Kalinouski battalion took the oath, the battalion joined the armed forces of Ukraine.
    • Belarusian and Ukrainian soldiers liberated Lukyanovka from Russian troops.
    • Christians of Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia launched their common telegram channel as they stood up united against the war.
    • Despite increased surveillance on the railway, Belarusian partisans carried out a successful sabotage operation near Barysau, burning down two relay cabinets.
    • Reserve officer Yauhen Vilski addressed the Belarusian military, urging them to refuse to participate in the war against Ukraine.
    • On Freedom Day, women of Minsk walked across the city with umbrellas in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
    • Partisans protested against the regime at State Medical University. 

    Support for Ukrainians and Belarusians

    • Belarusians celebrated Freedom Day worldwide and protested against Russia’s war in Ukraine. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, Pavel Latushka, and Viktar Babaryka’s team members joined the major rally in Warsaw, where thousands of Belarusians marched with the flags of Ukraine and the Kastus Kalinouski battalion
    • Maryia Kalesnikava, who is currently serving an 11-years sentence in the penal colony, congratulated Belarusians on Freedom Day and called on everyone to defend Belarus’ independence and fight for peace.
    • The delegation of the democratic forces made a visit to Ukraine and met with Ukrainian MPs, Belarusian volunteers in Lviv, and Belarusians of Kyiv
    • Belarusians fight against the Russian invaders within the group of united anti-authoritarian forces in the Kyiv region.
    • A Belarusian girl from the Czech Republic, Varia, donated her drone, which she had bought on her savings, to help Ukraine.
    • Odesa-based Belarusian military unit named after Illia “Litvin” and Belarusians of Odesa addressed the free people of Belarus, urging them to defend Ukraine.
    • FreeShop Partyzanka and the Recruitment Center in Warsaw handed over humanitarian aid to the Belarusian Kastus Kalinouski battalion. The diasporas of Ireland and Belgium sent the 3rd batch of ammunition for the battalion.
    • The Kupalautsy independent theater group presented a project in support of Ukrainian artists.
    • The Polish Interior Ministry formed a working group on Belarusian refugees and held its first session with representatives of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Office and the Center for the Belarusian Solidarity.
    • Belarusians developed a platform to help Ukrainian refugees locate free housing. 
    • A mobile hospital from democratic Belarus and Germany was delivered to Ukraine and is ready for use.
    • The Belarusian Sports Solidarity Foundation sent ammunition for the territorial defense of Kyiv: thirty sets of body armor and four night vision devices.
    • The BYSOL Foundation sent another ambulance car and 3 pickups to Ukraine, as well as delivered an electric generator and a batch of medicines for a children's hospital in Chernihiv.

    Awareness campaign

    • BYPOL released an investigation exposing the regime's fake news machine and its attempts to distort the truth about the war.
    • Belarusian musician Lavon Volski and Head of the Belarus office at Konrad Adenauer Foundation Jakob Wöllenstein recorded a new song Slava Ukraini (Glory to Ukraine). Yury Stylski, leader of the Dai Darohu! band, released a music video for Praz Vyzvalenne Ukrainy dedicated to the Kastus Kalinouski battalion. 
    • Belarusians keep designing and distributing leaflets with truthful information and combating propaganda.
    • The Lamant newspaper was launched. The first issue features articles on the situation in Ukraine.
