    Here is an overview of the Movement on April 5.

    Sabotage

    • The International Committee for the Investigation of Torture in Belarus joined the Belarusian Anti-War Movement to document cases of state abuse and torture of participants in the anti-war protests. Now, the Committee is gathering information on the repressions that followed in Belarus after the war broke out.
    • A mother of 7 children renounced her Order of Mother conferred by Lukashenka's administration in protest against the war. 

    Support for Ukrainians and Belarusians

    • Comedian Slava Komissarenko will donate all the proceeds from his concert in Warsaw to support Ukraine.
    • Homiel residents handed over another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukrainians living by the frontier.

    Awareness campaign

    • ByProsvet released an update on the relevant leaflet and sticker designs. Belarusians print them out to distribute.
    • Pavel Latushka, in an interview to the Ukrainian Espreso.TV, spoke about Belarusians' railway sabotage, anti-war information campaigns, monitoring of Russian military equipment movements in Belarus, and other support for Ukrainians.
    • Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's advisor Franak Viacorka explained why some companies “punish” Belarusians instead of the regime, the embassies suspend issuing visas, and what the Office does to solve these issues.
    • The Spotlight of the Regions initiative released a coverage on how the war has affected the Santa Bremor company. The company is planning to dismiss a thousand people, some employees' payments have been halved, and the company's press service confirms “the situation is not easy”.
