Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with representatives of Belarusian civil society at the Belarusian Solidarity Center in Warsaw. Representatives of several initiatives, media outlets, and NGOs participated in the meeting, including the Workers’ Movement, Press Club, Viasna Human Rights Center, the Association of Political Prisoners “To Freedom”, Reform.by, Belarusian Youth Hub, Euroradio, Belarus Free Theatre, ISANS, Association of Belarusian Veterans, Free Belarus Center, and other civil society organizations and cultural initiatives.
The meeting focused on migration issues in Poland, including visas, as well as the challenges faced by independent media and cultural initiatives in terms of funding. Thomas Castrel, the General Representative of Flanders in Poland, also attended the event.
