During the meeting with Latvian Prime Minister Evika Siliņa, Tsikhanouskaya emphasized the importance of distinguishing the regime and Belarusians, as well as Belarusians and Russians. She stressed that the draft law restricting personal vehicles with Belarusian license plates from entering Latvia might complicate the lives of Belarusians who do not support Lukashenka's regime. Ms. Tsikhanouskaya urged Latvia to support Belarusians living in the country.
Ms. Siliņa and Ms. Tsikhanouskaya also discussed the situation on the Belarusian-Latvian border, with Tsikhanouskaya stating that the need to build walls on the border with Belarus is entirely the fault of Lukashenka's regime.
