– Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's team presented a draft Act on Rehabilitation. The act provides a mechanism to release political prisoners within two days after the act is adopted. Draft Act is published on the official website of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. Representative on Legal Affairs Siarhej Zikratski has held a live stream Q&A session on the topic. For the Act to enter into force, it must be signed by the leader of democratic Belarus during the transition period.
– Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya held a working visit to Iceland. The President (more), Prime Minister (more), and Foreign Minister (more) expressed all their support to Ms. Tsikhanouskaya. The leader of democratic Belarus talked about the samizdat, “E-Zdorov’e” e-medicine project, “Workers Movement”. Iceland has already joined the democratic partners in sanctioning the regime and is ready to help civil society, including independent media, workers, students, medical professionals.

– Ms. Tsikhanouskaya’s statement on July 3rd: «How can we celebrate Independence Day when our sovereignty is being bargained?» The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken declared that Belarus is now fighting for a bright future, and the United States supports the striving of Belarusians for dignity, freedom, and democracy.
– Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s statement on the Eastern Partnership – Belarus is determined to continue participating in the Eastern Partnership, even if Aliaksandr Lukashenka tries to deprive Belarus of this important cooperation program. “My team and all democratic forces will continue to work with our European partners and will do everything to ensure that in the projects of the Eastern Partnership, including the summit this year, our homeland is represented by those who really have the right to speak on behalf of the people”.
– Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya held a call with Norwegian Foreign Affairs Minister Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide. The Minister stated that Norway would join the EU sanctions and had already increased support for the Belarusians.
– Ms. Tsikhanouskaya held an online meeting with the coordinators of the network of the underground self-publishing houses ByProsvet. The coordinators talked about the job done: the underground press became an important tool for disseminating information and combating state propaganda. Anyone can print and distribute the underground press. At the time when the independent media is destroyed, it is particularly important.
– The volunteers of the Office had a call with representatives of the initiative “Workers Movement”. The topics of discussion were the preparation of the strike and the ways to join it. Representatives of the initiative explained why the movement and the strike are about factories and production and about businesses, services, sales, and so on. From the technical point of view, the strike plan has already been worked out, the rest is up to the Belarusians. It is important to join the “Workers Movement”, tell relatives, friends, and acquaintances about the initiative, distribute leaflets and stickers.
