This week, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya held several calls with leaders of the Belarusian democratic forces, workers and doctors, and passed a joint position on the resolution of the crisis in Belarus to the administration of the US President Joe Biden and MFAs of the EU countries. – Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya held calls with workers and medics. There are cuts in wages, repressions and dismissals both in state-owned enterprises and in medical institutions throughout the country – that is, as workers said, “the regime itself leads Belarusians to strikes”.

    – Leader of democratic Belarus passed the joint position of democratic forces to the Biden administration before he met with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The question of Belarus was first raised at such a high level and in such a principled manner.

    – Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya addressed the Estonian Parliament, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the British Parliament, the Midsummer Snow Conference, the Danish Democracy Festival and the Brussels Forum. In every statement, she told about the decisive action that Belarus expects from the leaders of other countries.

    – Ms. Tsikhanouskaya sent a letter to 27 EU ministries with 31 concrete proposals to respond to the regime’s actions, including assistance to civil society, repressed journalists, isolation of the regime and sanctions.

    – Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya held a call Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg. He assured her that all EU countries are united in their positions on Belarus and sanctions against the regime, including the sectoral ones.

    – The head of the Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Cabinet Valery Kavaleuski spoke at the GLOBSEC forum in Bratislava. The closed discussion on Belarus, organized with the participation of the iSAтаNS initiative, was attended by Former Head of the Slovak Foreign Service Pavol Demes, former Assistant Secretary of State David J. Kramer, Program Director of Creative Politics Hub Natalia Kaliada as well as the representative of the European Commission Katarina Mathernova.

    – Ms. Tsikhanouskaya's advisor Franak Viacorka answered questions about sanctions, the meeting between Putin and Biden and the methods of peaceful fighting. The psychological effects of the sanctions will be visible as early as next week, and the economic effects can be expected in the autumn. At the same time, Belarusians continue to exert pressure on the regime by continuing to distribute publications, leaflets and holding street actions. You can become an office volunteer by filling out a form.

    – Office volunteers sent 500 postcards to political prisoners. They also distribute stickers “Peramoga”, “Workers movement” and leaflets, which tell about the budget of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union and the businesses of the “wallet” of the regime, Aleksin.

    – Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya explained the “Peramoga” plan: “It was created for the gathering of people who act underground – for them to be coordinated, to look for like-minded people and to safely go to the protests”.
