Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya: “On March 6, the so-called court in Belarus, represented by Piotr Arlou, issued a verdict against me in absentia, 15 years of imprisonment. By the way, I never saw a copy of the verdict documents. And today it was reported that Belarus' Supreme Court considered my appeals and left the verdict unchanged.
You know, by submitting this appeal, I didn't even hope it would be considered. And I certainly didn't think that the sentence would be overturned. I did it to once again express my resolute disagreement with the lawlessness that is happening in my native country”.
