Tatsiana Zaretskaya resigned as the United Transitional Cabinet Representative for Finance and Economics due to the pressure exerted on her, her relatives, and her business partners.
The leadership and representatives of the Cabinet express their full support, solidarity, and understanding of Tatsiana's decision. The Cabinet will comprehensively support the investigation of this case to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Head of the Cabinet Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya commented on Tatsiana Zaretskaya's resignation: “We have been working under constant attacks by the regime for two years now. I am grateful to Tatsiana for her determination to use her knowledge and experience to help Belarusians. I consider Tatsiana's departure as a great loss. However, I want those who put pressure on her to know that we will continue our work no matter what. We did not expect it to be easy. But it is even harder for Belarusians who live under the threat of repression every day”.
