Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya will take part in the meeting of female speakers of the European Union and address the EU Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET). She will also launch the Office for the Democratic Belarus in Brussels.
The national leader and Head of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus will address the European politicians regarding the deployment of a joint Russia-Belarus task force announced by the regime, as well as the regime's threat to Belarus' independence and its repressions against Belarusians. She will also speak about the results of the work of the Belarusian democratic forces and the possible solutions to the political crisis.
Ms. Tsikhanouskaya will hold working meetings with officials of the EU and its member states, including:
– European Parliament President Roberta Metsola,
– Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib,
– President of the Cypriot House of Representatives Annita Demetriou,
– First Vice-President of the European Parliament Othmar Karas,
– EPP President, MEP Manfred Weber,
– MEP Andrzej Halicki.
