Belarusian initiatives have prepared activities and events for the Day of Solidarity with Political Prisoners in Belarus on May 21. The Belarusian Students’ Association, RADA and Viasna, ByProsvet, Razam, Belarusian Council for Culture, White Coats, Ecodom, and other projects will hold live streams, fundraisers, movie screenings, and more.
Belarusians will hold rallies all over the world, with anyone free to attend them. Find locations of the rallies on the Viasna website. Come tomorrow to the rallies in your cities. Take flags, posters, and the symbol of this day – a yellow tag, which prison administrations use to mark political prisoners.
The Office has made a list of activities to support political prisoners. For example, you may replace your social media profile picture with a photo of a political prisoner, make a donation to solidarity foundations, or tell the local media about politically imprisoned Belarusians.
