Belarusians celebrate Mother's Day on October 14. National leader of Belarus and Head of the United Transitional Cabinet Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Cabinet Representative for National Revival Alina Koushyk congratulated Belarusian women on this occasion.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya: “Dear Belarusian women, dear mothers and grandmothers! Congratulations to you on Mother's Day. Loving a child is more than just a feeling, it is a great responsibility. Being a mother means finding the strength to smile at your children even when inconsolability and fatigue make you want to scream.
Only we women know what a great job we do every day – and what a great responsibility we have. Responsibility to our children for the future we are to build for them, and to the future for the people we are to bring into the world. Even in dark times, you keep raising decent, honest children. Thank you for this work.
