Lietuvos Respublikos Seimas organizes Kalinowski Forum on Monday, March 22, 2021. It is a round-table of world leaders and experts on the future of Belarus as a part of the European family. The Kalinowski Forum serves as the key platform for Belarusian freedom fighters and dissidents, political leaders of the international democratic community to express their opinions and develop common strategies to restore democracy in Belarus.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya will call on world leaders and experts to support negotiations in Belarus as a peaceful resolution of the crisis, which should lead to a new free and fair election this autumn. More than 600,000 Belarusians have already voted for negotiations with international mediation. The conference will address the following questions: a) what our coalition has accomplished since August 2020; b) what our plan to achieve the main goal – free and democratic elections under the auspices of the OSCE – is; c) how we can bring our goals in line with the new American Administration’s initiative – a global Summit for Democracy.

Kent, Vice-Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Mantas Adomėnas, Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, European Parliament David McAllister, President of the Supreme Council – Reconstituent Seimas Vytautas Landsbergis, Belarusian Civic Leader, Founder of the Human Rights Centre “Viasna” Ales Bialiatski, Congressman, Senior Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Chris Smith, and other.
