Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya reacted on her Twitter page to the statement of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on Belarus.
“Today I was glad to hear from Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Belarusians understand Ukraine and deserve a better future. We also feel that Ukrainians understand and support Belarusians. Ukraine is not just our neighbor. We are united by the struggle for independence throughout modern history”.
In his interview to Le Figaro, the President of Ukraine said: “I think Belarus understands us very well. I know how well they treat us, how young people treat us – they come, they love us very much. I believe that they deserve a different future, a different present even”.
