    Here is an overview of the Movement on April 7.

    Support for Ukrainians and Belarusians

    • The Center for Belarusian Solidarity provides counseling for people who faced the consequences of the war in Ukraine and need primary psychological help. Anyone eligible can get free counselling.
    • The BYSOL Foundation purchased another 2,000 tourniquets for soldiers in Ukraine that are needed to stop bleeding in action. The purchase of all 2,000 tourniquets was financed by one Belarusian.
    • Belarusians of Montenegro prompted the Montenegrin Ministry of the Interior to accept and record the petition to abolish the requirement of apostilles from Belarusians. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro will also consider the petition.
    • Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya held a call with the families of political prisoners and urged Belarusians to write letters to political prisoners, send postcards and support political prisoners and their families.

    Resistance

    • In response to to the genocide in Ukrainian Bucha, where Russian troops had been killing civilians, Hrodna residents drew chalk shadow-figures of people with their hands tied behind their backs.
    • Belarusian media outlet Nasha Niva made a map of partisans' railway sabotage aimed at jamming the hauling of Russian military equipment to Ukraine. At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports 80 cases of sabotage.
    • Liudmila Ramanovich, an activist from Malaryta, was accused of insulting the “president” and placed in the detention center. She had sent an appeal to Lukashenka's administration demanding the withdrawal of the Russian army from Belarus, reminding that Lukashenka had promised the Ukrainians that no one would ever invade Ukraine from Belarus. 
    • The Hajun project, which monitors the movement of Russian troops in Belarus, released an operational summary of the military activity as of April 7.
