  • Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Cabinet Representatives met with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki

    Within the framework of the Warsaw Security Forum, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya met with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. Representatives of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus Alina Koushyk, Tatsiana Zaretskaya, Aliaksandr Azarau and Pavel Latushka joined the meeting and were introduced in their new positions to the Polish side.

    Ms. Tsikhanouskaya and the Cabinet Representatives spoke about the priorities of their work. In particular, the meeting focused on:

    • defending the independence of Belarus in the face of the threat posed by the Russian Federation;
    • launching an international tribunal and investigation against perpetrators of politically motivated crimes against Belarusians;
    • stepping up sanctions until democratic transformations in Belarus, the release of all political prisoners, and withdrawal of Russian troops;
    • strengthening Belarusian cultural identity as a way to counter Russia's aggressive policy towards neighboring countries.
