During the Munich conference, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya held a meeting with the newly elected president of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel. He is the ex-NATO general who won the elections with the largest result in the history of direct elections in Czechia.

He assured Ms. Tsikhanouskaya of his willingness to support democratic Belarus. The national leader of Belarus shared the strategy for political prisoners, where the desired first step towards dialogue is the regime's release of political prisoners who need immediate help due to humanitarian reasons, and the strategy for countering Russian propaganda. They discussed the need to achieve the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Belarus.

Ms. Tsikhanovskaya raised the issue of Belarusian students, many of whom cannot continue their studies in Czechia due to visa restrictions. She also invited the President to support the Senate's resolution on recognizing the KGB and GUBOPiK as organizations that support terrorism.
