Any Belarusian can join the Movement and choose from numerous options to resist the war and Belarus' regime.
Here is an overview of the Movement on June 14.
Support for Belarusians and Ukrainians
- The DAR Initiative and the Dapamoga NPO purchased and handed over 50 tourniquets for the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- A demonstration of solidarity with political prisoner Pavel Seviarynets took place in Warsaw.
- An online conference on human rights in Belarus was held at the 50th session of the UN Human Rights Council.
- Tsikhanouskaya’s Office held meetings with representatives of Meta, TikTok and Google. At the meetings, the promotion of Belarusian content and Belarusian media, the blocking of propaganda and other issues were discussed.
- Pavel Latushka, head of the National Anti-Crisis Management, had a working meeting with German Ambassador to Poland Arndt Freytag von Loringhoven. They discussed Lukashenka's role in the war with Ukraine, recognition of Belarus as an occupied territory, and prevention of attempts to circumvent or lift sanctions.
- Petlia Pristrastija band will hold a charity tour with concerts in support of Ukraine. Part of the funds raised will be donated to help Ukrainians.
- Major sanctions circumvention loopholes have been closed, Franak Viacorka, advisor to Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, stated.
Resistance
- Belarusians of Chyzhouka Minsk region came out to support the political prisoners tried in the case of the partisan initiative Busly Laciac.
- Minsk residents distribute postcards with texts against the regime and against the war.
Sabotage
- The Hajun monitoring project tracked the movements of Russian troops in Belarus for June 13.
- Hajun also reviewed the state propaganda coverage of the war in Ukraine for June 14: propaganda is worried about the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
Awareness campaign
- A new leaflet Protest Homiel was released: it tells about rail partisans, the bombing of Ukraine by planes that take off from Belarusian airfields and “mobilization exercises” in the Homiel region.
