    Sabotage

    • Belarusian partisans crippled the signaling, centralization, and blocking devices on the Asipovichy-Veraitsy railway section.
    • On the night of March 30, 2022, on the Savichy-Berazina railway section, partisans unlocked two relay cabinets and managed to set one of them on fire. At this time, a group of interior troops were patrolling the area and opened fire with combat weapons. The partisans managed to escape.
    • Since the beginning of the war, partisans have conducted at least 10 successful sabotage operations on the railway to prevent Russian military equipment from entering Ukraine. See the infographics.

    Support for Ukrainians and Belarusians

    • The Belarusian volunteer movement in Ukraine is growing and gaining momentum. In addition to the Kastus Kalinouski battalion, Belarusians formed another unit, named Pahonia, to defend Ukraine within the International Legion.
    • BYSOL launched a fundraiser for women who have been exposed to sexual violence related to the war. The Foundation aims to raise 10,000 euros for the necessary medications and contraceptives. Survivors of sexual abuse in need of medical or psychological help can use BYSOL's secure Telegram chatbot.
    • The BYSOL Foundation purchased another two vehicles for the Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital and delivered 75 protective helmets to Ukraine.
    • Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Representative Valery Kavaleuski told about the democratic forces delegation's visit to Kyiv and the results of the meetings in Ukraine.
    • The Czech Republic is changing the law to let Belarusians obtain residence permits. The Polish Parliament will consider amendments to issue humanitarian visas for Belarusians in Poland and grant 3-year humanitarian residence permits. Estonia is still issuing humanitarian visas. Also, Belarusians can obtain employment visas if they provide the necessary documents from the Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs first.
