    Here is an overview of the Movement on March 26.

    The heartbreaking news came today that one of the Belarusian volunteers in Ukraine, Kastus Kalinouski battalion warrior Dzmitry Apanasovich, was severely wounded in a battle and lost his life. This is a great loss for all of us. Dzmitry will forever be a hero for Belarusians.

    Resistance

    • Residents of Minsk hung Ukrainian and Belarusian national flags. Glory to Ukraine and Long Live Belarus, the flags said.
    • Belarusians placed anti-war posters on a mass grave of World War II soldiers.
    • Belarusian and Ukrainian soldiers liberated Lukyanovka from Russian troops.
    • Partisans protested against the regime in State Medical University.

    Support for Ukrainians and Belarusians

    • Belarusians held a major Freedom Day rally in Warsaw, demonstrating the flags of Ukraine and the Kastus Kalinouski battalion.
    • During its visit to Ukraine, the democratic forces' delegation met with Belarusian volunteers in Lviv. Volunteers told how they provide aid to Ukrainians and proposed to render more systemic support.
    • The Viasna Human Rights Center in Homiel reported that its aid for the Kastus Kalinouski battalion was successfully delivered and handed over to the warriors.
    • The BYSOL Foundation reported that in a month since the war broke out, its team managed to send 2 ambulance cars and 2 evacuation off-roaders to Ukraine, with 3 more pickups and a van being prepared for shipment.
    • Residents of Minsk held a picket in support of brave Belarusian volunteers fighting in Ukraine. 
    • The Polish Interior Ministry working group on Belarusian refugees held its first session with representatives of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's Office and the Center for the Belarusian Solidarity. Among other things, they discussed visa and legalization issues, international protection for Belarusians and prevention of discrimination.

    Awareness campaign

    • Yury Stylski, leader of the Dai Darohu! band, released a music video for Praz Vyzvalenne Ukrainy dedicated to the Kastus Kalinouski battalion.
